Before You Buy A New System |
First of all ask yourself these questions....................
Did the technician tell me exactly what's wrong? Not just it's broke....worn out.....or even worse.....shot?????
Did he even give me an option to fix it? Does that cost exceed 30% or more than a new system would?
Is it older than the average life expectancy of 12-15 years????
Did he evaluate the whole system and duct work? Often times older duct systems are better engineered and constructed than what we replace it with?
I would like to offer you a FREE second opinion on your HVAC system to give you an honest opinion of your system by an experienced professional........me!
There are many benefits to replacing your system with a new one BUT.......More often than not.....what I find when I go to peoples homes to give them a second opinion on their system is that it was either misdiagnosed, or not diagnosed at all. Customers often accept the words.....wore out...shot......old.....etc. etc. as honest advice that replacing their system is in their best interest.......I BEG TO DIFFER!
Often the unit could have been fixed for less than you think.....
Did you know that some technicians get paid on commision????? Yes, commision...... a percentage of the invoice price!
I certainly don't blame you for not asking them those types of questions..... That's why I offer the free second opinion.....For people that just weren't comfortable with the first one...... And hopefully.......You will end up being a customer who appreciates an honest, educated description of your system based on facts that I will show you........ and someone who will end up being a lifelong customer of mine.
I saw a documentary on the discovery channel where 5 different doctors wanted to perform 5 entirely different procedures to fix this persons problem..... Luckily heating and air conditioning is much more simple than that........If you call me for a service call I promise to always give you a 100% accurate diagnosis......... or the trip to your house is on me..................... Thanks for your time.
